Uphuck Snow Leopard Releases (code name: iKaros) |

we started the new project code name iKaros
iKaros is Mac OS X 10.6.x Snow leopard dvd distros based on our methods.
~iKaros will be released after and official Snow Leopard Release from Apple.
So dont ask why we dont release it. we will wait for the official release so that we
cover everything.
** iKaros is an experimental and personal project so that people can taste what Apple Software
brings and hopefully buy a real mac after that.
** It will contain all the new stuff as usual.
** iKaros will only support the modern hardware. ( minimum core based CPU and a modern chipset)
** We will not support obsolete hardware

I am currently applying my so-called "intelization" techniques on the distro. Since PPC usage is extremely small nowadays, we can get rid of the Universal code from almost all binaries.
if successful, iKaros distros will be released as Intel Only (like uphuck 1.4i releases )

Update of 10.5.7 has been good for Hackintosh’s |
 Apple annonced a new system fort he users of Mac OS X 10.5 last week. Although great update in the version number of 10.5.7 causes problems, presents an improvement that makes Hackintosh users happy. %33 extension in battery life is watched on the computer of MSI Wind PC users who download 10.5.7 update without bringing out any change. Users that go on using by downloading OS X at MSI Wind PC Forums were seeing 3 and a half an hour by standart 4400 mah. Battery, now they mention that they are seeing approximately 5 hours. Apple most probably seems like as if it added features of power use that it did not add before. So OS X that could use ATOM processor in lower power mode lengthen life of Wind PC. MSI Wind PC’s in the market price of 400€ make eyes at OS X users. It is still unknown that Apple to penetrate in this Market.
